Yesterday was awesome! I appreciate the focus of everyone - it really helped our class be more productive in our learning! We were able to go through many of the options we have when using Weebly and we were able to set up our first page and our first post! Great work!
So far, you should have the following things done:
Page 1: North / South Differences with a T-Chart comparing the North and South and a few sentences on Sectionalism at the bottom.
Post 1: Compare and contrast the impact of slavery on the North, South, and West.
Most days will start with a new post and every other day will have a new page. Here are the directions for today!
Post 2:
On your blog page, write a new post answering the following prompt: Explain the roles of John C. Calhoun, Henry Clay, and Daniel Webster in compromises before the Civil War. Summarize their views on states' rights. You can find information by clicking here. Remember, your posts don't have to be too long, just long enough to answer the question. Your posts aren't meant to take too long - they are just like warm ups!

Create a new page called Causes of the Civil War. (Make sure you click "Add Page" or else you will simply change the name of one of your old pages.) You will set it up to look like my Causes of the Civil War page. First, complete the Connect to Self as described at the top of my page. Then, create a three-columned chart, similar to mine in that they each have a title, image, and space for notes. Underneath that goes your timeline with a brief explanation of what happened in each year. Finally, add another image and complete the concluding Connect to Self. The Causes page will be due on Thursday!
